Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, 2017-2018

• Researched two early modern Dutch paintings from the museum’s collection through provenance documentation, iconographical analysis, artists’ biographies, and conservation reports.

• Synthesized findings into comprehensive catalog entries and presented research to the visiting public.  

• Assisted Old Masters curator with exhibition layouts and translated wall texts. 

• Traveled occasionally with paintings loaned for outside exhibitions to ensure proper packing and installation upon arrival.  



Translation ExperienceEditor (Freelance), Translated Texts
Vlaams Architectuurinstituut (VAi), 2026

• Edited translated (Dutch-English) wall texts and catalog entries for the exhibition “Feministische perspectieven 1980-1990” (#9 in the “Unfolding the Archives” series) for punctuation and clarity.

• Consulted original texts to confirm suggested edits and re-writes aligned with the intention of the author.

Literature from Flanders Workshop
British Centre for Literary Translation Summer School, 2025
• Worked on a consensus English translation of Onheilsdochter by Jean-Claude van Rijckeghem, led by Kristen Gehrman.  

Learned foundational concepts and tools for literary translation, particularly from Dutch to English.
